Jane Eyre translation: 1930

A Polish translator from English and author of children’s literature. Her other translations include Walter Scott’s Waverley, Rob Roy, and The Bride of Lammermoor, Charles Dickens’s David Copperfield and A Tale of Two Cities, as well as Woodrow Wilson’s memoirs. She wrote a children’s book entitled Pamiętniki Neptuna: Opowiadania dla dzieci, które lubią psy [Neptune’s Memoirs: Short Stories for Children Who Like Dogs].
