Independent Study
The below worksheet is designed for independent study. Students will explore the characters of Mr Rochester and Bertha in Jane Eyre through an English extract and a Spanish book cover. They will then translate a Spanish version of this extract back into English with the help of a glossary. Finally, they will use this literal translation as a template to rewrite the extract from a new perspective.
